We are a four piece electric/acoustic band. Our primary focus is playing classic rock and singing harmony.

John Romanchik - Bass and Vox
Bill Yergin - Percussion and Vox

Acquire is a combination of two bands that was formed in late September 2009.

Pat and John come from a classic rock band called Private Stock. Mike and Bill come from a blues band called the Bluesmatics.

Pat and John left Private Stock to focus on duets and acoustic music. They decided to add a third voice at the same time that Mike posted a Craigslist ad looking for someone with whom to do duets. Phone calls were exchanged and, after a short jam session, the music began to flow. Instant three part harmonies and Mike’s searing guitar told everyone that this was going to be something special. A couple of weeks later Mike asked Bill to join as the drummer. Bill provided a fourth voice and a steady beat…and Acquire was born!
